Italian Wedding soup is perfect for fall evenings

title=

More soup this week because it’s fall. About this time of year we all start thinking about the holidays to come: Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Not sure what any of those holidays will look like this year. Although I guess Halloween is canceled in College Hill. I breathed a big sigh of relief when I read that news from the neighborhood association. It feels like the responsible thing to do this year. So what will everyone do on Halloween night? Perhaps gather in very small groups? One friend suggested a candy hunt – similar to an Easter Egg hunt. That seemed like a fun idea.

This week’s recipe is a quick version of Italian Wedding soup. This recipe usually has meatballs in it, and sometimes a small pasta, too, which you could easily add. I found inspiration for this soup on Instagram. It was a list of ingredients, and I

The Top 12 Bridal Trends For Fall 2021

After an abbreviated but hopeful Spring 2021 Bridal Week, the Fall 2021 season returned in full-force-ish.

Due to the pandemic, instead of rushing all over New York City to see in-person shows and presentations, the event went virtual, with video presentations and Zoom appointments for much-appreciated social interaction. Perusing bridal dresses and separates never fails to bring the warm and fuzzies, but it’s also impossible to look to the upcoming wedding seasons without considering the unpredictability and uncertainty in the months ahead. Fittingly, the Fall 2021 offerings really do cover a wide spectrum of wedding celebrations and style preferences.

Tiffany Copeland Wears White Gown For Fall Wedding: Below Deck

Last September, Tiffany Copeland took to Instagram with some sparkling news. Flashing a princess-cut diamond that boyfriend Evan Jones had just slipped onto her finger, the Below Deck Mediterranean alum made it official: She was engaged!

Fast forward just over a year, and the former marine biologist was standing under a rose-clad altar, looking like a total dream in a floaty white gown.

Tiffany and Evan wed in an outdoor ceremony this October. The wedding took place at a North Carolina ranch, and the pictures showcased Tiffany’s gorgeous gown against a backdrop of autumn trees and sunlit fields. (But of course, there was also some water nearby: The couple said their vows in front of a placid lake.)

The bride wore a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and a cascading, ruffled train. For her beauty look, Tiffany opted for an elaborately braided updo, and let a few romantic, wavy

A Lively Los Angeles Wedding Celebration Full of Fall Florals

Not many love stories begin with one person in a minion costume confessing their love in a crowded bar on Halloween. But for Nicole and Ashley Dillon, that’s exactly how their romance started. “She didn’t really hear me, so I pretended like I didn’t say anything,” remembers Nicole of the moment. But a week later, Ashley said they should “revisit the conversation”—proof that she did, in fact, hear Nicole! “We never looked back after that,” Nicole says.

The couple was first introduced during a flag football league in 2014 and three years later, Nicole popped the question while vacationing in Montauk, New York. Ashley’s ring—a custom aqua stone set on a rose gold band—would eventually serve as inspiration for their wedding day, but not before Ashley returned the favor. “About eight months [after the proposal], I came home from work and found Ashley had strung up a bunch of pictures

While the textbook 150-person destination wedding has fallen out of favor for the foreseeable future, it doesn’t mean that people aren’t still getting married. From the brides taking their show on the road and having mini-ceremonies all over the country to couples heading to City Hall in matching jumpsuits, there are plenty of folks getting hitched in creative ways. And, as we all know, for every wedding gown there’s a wedding guest dress to follow suit.

While there may be fewer nuptials on your calendar this fall — save the intimate ceremonies of your very nearest and dearest — it wouldn’t be a proper autumn without at least one matrimonial shindig on the horizon. 13 Cozy Fall Centerpieces to Warm Up Your Table

Centerpieces—be they at a wedding or just a static, steady feature on your dining table—have a reputation for being rather fussy. Many of them are also very obviously seasonal: sunflowers and cacti for summer, red berries and coniferous branches in winter.

They don’t have to be so boxed in, though, and they don’t have to be floral. And they certainly needn’t be fussy, because, quite frankly, who needs that right now. I’m quite partial to centerpieces that just use what’s available, like a variety of produce or a collection of vintage items you have lying around used as vases—the more unexpected, the better. Below, we’ve collected 13 unique centerpiece ideas that will scratch your creative itch and feel 100 percent autumnal, but can easily be modified for any theme or season.
