RHOA star Cynthia Bailey and fiance Mike Hill take a dancing break from wedding planning as countdown to the big day begins
The countdown to Cynthia Bailey’s wedding has begun.
The Real Housewives Of Atlanta star, 53, posted a humorous boomerang-style video of her and fiance Mike Hill dancing jovially away as she marked four days to go until their big day.
‘4 more days,’ Cynthia captioned the video with a ring emoji, which hilariously showed Mike smacking her behind.
Let’s do this! Cynthia Bailey posted a humorous boomerang-style video of her and fiance Mike Hill dancing jovially away as she marked four days to go until their big day
The wedding countdown officially began Monday when Cynthia shared a clip from the first time she met Mike on The Steve Harvey Show in 2018.
Steve was helping Cynthia find a date, and Mike was one of her prospective suitors.
At the time, Cynthia was still relatively fresh off her divorce from Peter Thomas and had no intentions of remarrying.
But just one year later, Mike popped the question.

Just dance! The duo struck an array of goofy dance moves
‘some days i still can’t believe that in January 2018 (the show was aired April 2018), i met my now fiancé @itsmikehill through my friend @iamsteveharveytv on his dating pool,’ Cynthia wrote in the post.
Interestingly, both Cynthia and Mike were apprehensive about appearing on the show in the first place.
‘honestly, I was initially reluctant to do the dating pool but was at a point in my life where for once, I just decided to not over think everything, have fun, and go for it. i had no real expectations, but was excited to step outside my box & have a good time. let go & let God.
‘funny enough Mike was also not initially sure about doing the dating pool either since he was doing “quite well” in the dating world before we met lol. although, he was reluctant, he was curious to meet me.
Taking the plunge: Despite the pandemic, the couple plan on going forward with their wedding full steam ahead – but with some safety precautions
Unbelievable: Bailey still ‘can’t believe’ she met her fiance on The Steve Harvey Show
Strange how it all works out: Interestingly, both Cynthia and Mike were apprehensive about appearing on the show in the first place
‘Fun fact: Mike actually wasn’t even one of the guys that the show was vetting to be in the dating pool, and ended up finding out about it through a friend of his that happened to be a producer on the show & mentioned it to him. Similar to my attitude, he decided to also not overthink it, have fun, and see what happened.’
The couple plan on tying the knot on October 10, a date they considered postponing multiple times due to the pandemic.
‘We’ve actually thought a couple of times about just postponing it because just even trying to make it happen has been a nightmare,’ Cynthia previously said on Us Weekly’s Getting Real With The Housewives podcast.
However, that ultimately never happened.
‘Mike and I really feel like 10.10.20 is our perfect date,’ she explained.
Fortunately for guests, there will be some safety precautions in place.
