The Lounge Series, beginning Oct. 2, marks the first music audience at the Downtown flagship since March, sectioned into floor-level mini lounges with group tickets and spaced across mezzanine seats.
Like all Texas venues tiptoeing back into in-person programming, ACL Live received approval for a Food & Beverage designation under loosened state rules, utilizing the W Austin Hotel‘s kitchen. This allows for 75% capacity, but like most other resurfacing music hubs, they’re not stepping anywhere near that. The series allows around
Resplendent in white satin, her hair perfectly pinned and her make-up pristine, a blushing bride grips her brother’s arm as she takes a deep breath to calm her nerves.
On the other side of the solid oak door her handsome groom stares straight ahead, his palms sweating, his mind racing.
A ripple of excitement sweeps through the 40 guests as they eagerly wait for the ceremony to begin.
But this is no ordinary wedding. When the bride walks down the aisle and locks eyes with her husband-to-be, there isn’t the usual comforting look of love shared by a couple who have spent months planning their big day together.
Just six weeks earlier, Shareen and David were told they were each other’s perfect match and they agreed to get married, meeting for the first time on their big day. But these aren’t the usual young reality TV wannabes — David is

“She was talking about being in quarantine and being by herself and just sort of needing a project, and thought that this would be a great opportunity

Facebook has announced that it will be introducing new measures to fight copyright breaches, but photographers fed up with seeing their work free-booted on Instagram should not get excited: the system is limited, can easily be evaded, and seems to have been designed with large brands in mind.
Facebook is updating its Rights Manager tool, making it easier to identify when images have been used without permission. The system is currently only available to those who submit an application who will then be asked to upload a CSV file containing metadata for the images that they wish to have protected.
Facebook’s announcement explains that the Rights Manager will use “image-matching technology to help creators and publishers protect and manage their image content at scale,” suggesting that the tool is not designed with individual photographers in mind, but is geared towards brands running campaigns who need to maintain close control over
When Kelly Dodd marries Rick Leventhal in California on October 10, she’s taking special precautions amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.
