1. Choosing a Date
Jewish weddings are traditionally prohibited on Shabbat and most holidays — including Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Passover, Shavuot, and Sukkot — and the fast days Tisha B’Av, the 10th of Tevet,
Inheritance tax is not well-liked among many Britons, but understanding the charge is key as it allows people to look towards how best to ensure their loved ones are provided for. For those hoping to leave money or other assets to their family members after they pass away, planning ahead is vital. Anthony Ward, Head of Wealth Planning at Barclays UK, has shared important tips for people to consider relating to inheritance planning.
There are also other important exemptions to bear in mind which are tax-free and potentially beneficial.
Each tax year, a person can give away wedding gifts of up to £1,000 per person, £5,000 for a child and £2,500 for a grandchild or great-grandchild.

A month before the wedding, with 120 guests expected to fly into Hong Kong for a 200-person reception, the government banned large gatherings in an attempt to curb Covid-19. Wedding planner and designer Christine Ritter was tasked with crisis control.
The reception had to be cancelled but the marriage itself went ahead: she reduced the church service to less than 20 people, including the bride and groom’s parents, who had flown in weeks earlier to quarantine, along with bridesmaids and a bridesman, plus a photographer, videographer and the priest. Ritter, of Christine Ritter Designs, filmed the service herself on her phone for Instagram Live.
“We had to multitask due to the headcount,” she says. “The couple were unsure about a live-screened event as
ALFRED, Maine (AP) — Maine’s county jails are implementing stricter precautions in response to an outbreak at the York County Jail, the commissioner of the Maine Department of Corrections said Wednesday.
One of the largest outbreaks to hit the state has centered around the York County Jail in Alfred. State officials have said an employee of that jail attended a wedding in northern Maine where the virus spread and then returned to work.
A state inspection later found mask use and screening were not universal at the state’s 15 county jails. All inmates and staff members are now required to wear masks, corrections commissioner Randall Liberty said. Screening staff members for symptoms is now also universal, he said.
“They are working diligently to correct those deficiencies,” Liberty said. “We’ve had really good participation and collaboration with the sheriffs.”
The state inspection also found most jails lacked diversion plans about where
One of the most infamous aspects of the controversial Rusev-Lana-Bobby Lashley storyline was the wedding segment on the final Monday Night Raw of 2019. For those who don’t recall, the wedding between Lana and Lashley was interrupted when Liv Morgan (who had been teasing a character change in the weeks prior) suddenly arrived and revealed she and Lana had been in a relationship. The LGBT aspect was quickly dropped in weeks that followed, Morgan and Rusev wound up losing a mixed tag match against the heels and the latter was taken off television before his release in April. In a new interview with Chris Van Vliet this week, Rusev (now Miro) was asked if there were any further plans with that angle.
“No plan — [a] one-time pop,” Miro said. “A lot of things were made for one time pops. People thought it was the worst thing and it meant
